TISCO’s saleable steel production reaches 4 million tons

According to recent news in the market, Indian steel producer Tata Iron and Steel Corporation (TISCO) produced 4.09 million tons of saleable steel in 2003-2004 fiscal, indicating an increase of 3.8% against the figure recorded in the previous fiscal. The company also reported record production levels in crude steel and hot metal, with the volumes of 4.22 million tons and 4.47 million tons respectively. Moreover dispatches of saleable steel exceeded 4 million tons and reached 4.09 million tons, indicating an increase of 4.5% when compared with the figure recorded in previous year. Sales of the company increased by 2.1% to 3.97 million tons when compared with the figure recorded in previous fiscal.
