Timken Corporation hikes steel bar prices

According to the statement released by Timken Corporation, the company will increase steel bar prices effective for shipments as of October 1, 2004. The price increase will be $60 per ton for all sizes and grades of carbon and alloy steel bars. No change in raw material surcharges has been announced.
