ThyssenKrupp buys DaimlerChrysler steering systems unit

According to reports from the industry, ThyssenKrupp AG is seriously considering to buy the steering systems unit MB Lenkungen GmbH from DaimlerChrysler AG. It is reported that the company will either acquire the unit completely or hold a majority stake. The insiders reveal that DaimlerChrysler's aim is to increase MB's volume of production.
