Tangshan Ganglu commissions first stage of cold rolled project

The first stage of the cold rolled project with an annual capacity of 2.0 million mt of Chinese steel producer Tangshan Ganglu Iron and Steel Co. (Tangshan Ganglu) was put into operation on June 10, as reported by local media. Investment in the first stage of the project in question amounted to RMB 1.45 billion ($0.2 billion), while construction included a pickling continuous rolling production line with an annual capacity of 1.2 million mt and associated facilities.

After the completion of the whole project, the daily output of cold rolled steel sheet, hot galvanized steel sheet and other high-quality steel sheet will reach 3,500 mt, destined for use in auto production, home appliance production and high-end building construction.
