Taiwan’s basic metal export orders up 16.1 percent in 2017

According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, in December last year Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $2.54 billion, up 16.3 percent compared to December 2016 and falling by 0.2 percent compared to the previous month.

In 2017, the country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders rose by 16.1 percent year on year to $27.4 billion.
