Taigang Stainless Steel hikes prices

Chinese stainless steel producer Taigang Stainless Steel Co Ltd has recently effected price increase for stainless steel products. The price of 0.5 mm and 0.6mm-3.0 mm cold rolled stainless steel sheets has been increased by RMB 900/t ($108) and RMB 800/t ($96) respectively. The price of 3-4 mm hot rolled stainless steel coils has been increased by RMB 1'700/t ($201) and the price of 4.5-7 mm hot rolled stainless steel coils has been increased by RMB 2'000/t ($241). Moreover, the price of 6 mm and 8 mm hot rolled stainless steel sheets have been increased by RMB 1'100/t ($132) and RMB 600/t ($72) respectively. The increases reflect the price increases against the levels in November.
