In October this year, Swedish crude steel production amounted 395,300 metric tons, increasing by 0.4 percent compared to September, but down 1.8 percent year on year, according to the latest data released by the Swedish Steel Producers' Association (Jernkontoret).
Meanwhile, in the January-October period of the current year, Swedish crude steel production totaled 3.76 million mt, with an increase of 3.2 percent year on year.
