Strike threat at Sidor may be over

Market sources report that the management of Venezuela's Sidor steel works have reached a draft agreement with the unions to solve the dispute on payments to workers. Reports also underline the fact that the labour minister of Venezuela also played an important role in looking for an amicable solution. The disagreement may be completely solved after completion of further talks within a week or two.
