Stocks of main finished steel products in China remain stable in mid-March 2026

On March 20 this year, overall domestic inventories of the five main finished steel products in 21 major cities in China totaled 11.64 million mt, remaining stable compared to March 10, as announced by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).

In particular, as of March 20, domestic inventory of HRC, CRC and medium steel plate decreased by 2.0 percent, 3.3 percent and 9.0 percent, respectively, while inventory of wire rod and rebar rose by 0.9 percent and 4.1 percent, all compared to March 10.
