Attending a senate hearing regarding trade negotiations between the US and China, US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said that the Section 232 tariffs were not included in the negotiations, adding that the tariffs will remain in place.

Earlier this week, the Trump administration indicated that it had decided to put the Section 301 tariffs against Chinese imports on hold, following the trade talks held between two countries in Washington.
