Stelco-McMaster Ltée changes its name

According to recent industry news, Stelco Inc's subsidiary Stelco-McMaster Ltée, located in Quebec has changed its name to Norambar, to be in effect as of January 21, 2004. The new name is derived from the words North America and bar, indicating the focus of the company on special quality bars. Norambar will primarily serve outside markets with its annual production of 600'000 tons of billets, special quality bars. In fact, currently 60% of the output is exported outside Canada, however this percentage is aimed to increase.
