Southern Kuzbass Coal buys new boring machine

Southern Kuzbass Coal Company, a subsidiary of the Russian mining and steel producing group Mechel, plans to put into operation a new boring machine (3SBSh-200-60) at its Krasnogorsky mining section.


The company has already bought one boring machine worth Ruble 20.160 million ($0.7 million) produced by Russian company Buzuluktyazhmash.


The new equipment will be used for drilling vertical and diagonals holes with depths of up to 60 meters.
