South Korea's auto output down 4.75 percent in November

In November this year, South Korea's total automotive (cars and commercial vehicles) output amounted to 406,490 units, up 11.5 percent month on month and declining by 4.75 percent year on year, according to a report released by the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association (KAMA). On the other hand, South Korea's car and commercial vehicle output in the first eleven months of the current year saw a year-on-year decrease of 0.29 percent to 4,090,161 units

Meanwhile, in November this year South Korean automotive exports totaled 273,147 units, up 13.2 percent month on month and decreasing by 4.5 percent year on year. In the first eleven months of the current year, the country's automotive exports decreased by 1.48 percent year on year to 2,758,430 units.

In November this year, the number of vehicles sold in the South Korean domestic market totaled 127,781 units, up 6.4 percent year on year and 4.5 percent month on month. In the first eleven months of this year, domestic vehicle sales in South Korea increased by 4.2 percent year on year to 1,309,006 units.
