South African Saldanha's August production peaks

SteelOrbis is informed that the South African steel mill Saldanha surpassed 100.000mt production for the month of August. This is the first time the mill reached this peak performance which is thought to be a direct result of the upgrade in the Corex, carried out in May of this year. The mill's rated capacity is 1.2 million per year.
