SMS Demag to expand hot rolling mill at Hadeed

According to the statement released by German company SMS Demag, the company received an order from Saudi Arabian steel firm Hadeed to expand its finishing mill in Al-Jubail. The contract also covers a new hot skin pass stand. With the capacity expansion, Hadeed aims to meet increasing demand for ultra-thin hot-strip products in local Saudi Arabian market. Commissioning is scheduled for the end of 2005.
