Chinese steel producer Shougang's section steel plant lately held a conference in which it outlined its major tasks and requirements for 2010.
For 2010, Shougang's section steel plant is targeting a finished steel output of 1.73 million mt. Meanwhile, in 2010 the producer intends to attach great importance to the development of finishing rebar, and GS PGB930 and PSB1080 high-strength rebar for high-speed railway; it will also develop BS B500B high-strength steel bar, and produce GS HRB335 and HRB400 bar via low-cost process so as to further cut its production costs.
