Shougang Jingtang starts to build continuous pickling and tandem CR line

Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Shougang Jingtang United Iron & Steel Co (Shougang Jingtang) has announced the start of construction of a coupled continuous pickling line and tandem cold rolling mill at its cold rolling plant No. 3.
 
According to Shougang Jingtang, the annual output of the new facilities will be 791,000 mt of ultra-thin tinplate.   
 
The existing output capacity of Shougang Jingtang's cold rolling plant No. 3 is 800,000 mt, of which 350,000 mt are common cold rolled products, while the other 450,000 mt undergo electrolytic tinning.
