Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Shougang Jingtang United Iron & Steel Co. (Shougang Jingtang) has announced that the No. 3 galvanizing line in its 2,230 mm cold rolling mill has produced automotive grade sheet for the first time.
Accordingly, the No. 3 galvanizing line has successfully produced super extra deep drawing quality (SEDDQ) interstitial-free (IF) DX56D+Z galvanized auto steel sheet and low carbon and high strength bake-hardening H180BD+Z galvanized auto steel sheet. The development of production of the products in question marks a big step forward for Shougang Jingtang in its production of cold rolled sheet for automotive application.
