Severstal Ukraine, a trading subsidiary of Russian steel producer Severstal, has announced that in Q3 2010 it tripled its steel product sales on year-on-year basis to more than 30,000 mt, also exceeding its sales volume target for the period by 37 percent.

According to the company's statement, the increase in sales volumes is due to active work with industry customers, including machine building and pipe producing companies, to which Severstal Ukraine mostly delivers hot rolled products manufactured by Severstal Cherepovets, the main steel producing facility of Severstal Russian Steel.
