Severstal to install press-shears at Severstal-Vtorchermet

Russian steelmaker Severstal has announced that Severstal-Vtorchermet, the scrap-processing company which is a part of Severstal's Russian Steel division, will install a press-shears at its Saint-Petersburg regional branch in 2013. The new equipment will allow an increase of 150,000 mt in the annual scrap recycling volume.

The cost of the project is around RUB 41.3 million ($1.3 million), while the scheduled date of completion of the works is October 2013.
