Severstal orders further equipment from SMS Demag

The Russian steel producer Severstal has awarded an equipment supply agreement to German plantmaker SMS Demag for the second part of the polymer coating line at its Cherepovets plant.

As previously reported by SteelOrbis, the new line is worth more than Ruble 1 billion ($38.8 million), and has a designed annual production capacity of 200,000 metric tons.
