Sandvik subsidiary receives major pipe order

Swedish high-technology engineering and steelmaking group Sandvik has announced that its subsidiary Sandvik Materials Technology has received a major order for advanced tubes related to the energy segment.

According to Sandvik, the order value is approximately SEK 500 million ($56.98 million), booked in the second quarter of the current year, and deliveries are scheduled as from 2020.

Sandvik Materials Technology is a world-leading developer and producer of advanced stainless steels and other high-performance materials.
