SAIL continues to supply steel for major metro constructions in India

Indian state-owned steel producer Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has announced that it has supplied approximately 55,000 mt of steel for the Magenta Line of Delhi Metro, continuing to partner all major metro constructions across the country.

The scope of supply of SAIL includes thermo-mechanically treated (TMT) bars, structural steels and steel plates. The Magenta line, inaugurated on December 26, connects Janakpuri west metro station to Botanical Garden in the city of Noida.
