Russia’s Kuzbassrazrezugol issues Jan-Feb output results

Russian coal mining company Kuzbassrazrezugol has issued its operational results for the first two months of 2010.

Accordingly, in January-February, Kuzbassrazrezugol produced 7.53 million of coal - up 11.5 percent year on year, including 626,000 mt of coking coal - up 141.7 percent year on year. In February this year, the company increased its coal production by 1.7 percent month on month to 3.796 million mt, including 328,000 mt of coking coal - up 10.1 percent month on month.

Meanwhile, Kuzbassrazrezugol's coal deliveries in the first two months of this year amounted to about 7.2 million mt - up 6.1 percent, including 512,300 mt of coking coal - up 33.6 percent, while its exports of coal amounted to 3.68 million mt - down about 1.7 percent compared to the same period last year.
