Russia’s Ashinskiy sees slab output rise 0.7 percent in January-April

According to its data issued for the first four months of the current year, Russian steel producer Ashinskiy Metallurgical Works (Ashinskiy) produced 248,805 mt of crude steel, including 244,988 mt of slabs, which indicated an increase of 0.7 percent year on year.

In the January-April period, Ashinskiy produced 217,542 mt of rolled steel products, up 6.2 percent compared to the same period of last year.
