Russia removes import tariff on flat rolled steel products

The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Russian Federation (MEDT) decided to decrease import tariffs on the goods, which either are not produced in Russia or produced in insufficient quantities, during the meeting of the Protectionist Measures in Foreign Trade and Custom-Tariff Policy Committee, which was held on April 3, 2006. The MEDT decided to remove completely, among the other import tariffs, the import tariffs on 3,000 mm and over wide flat rolled steel products.
