Russia issues January-October production results

In the first 10 months of the current year, Russia registered a 1.9 percent rise in its crude steel output to 58.6 million mt and a 2.8 percent increase in its rolled steel output to 50.7 million mt, both year on year, according to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat). In the given period, Russia saw a 10.1 percent increase year on year in its steel pipe production to 9.3 million mt.

In October alone, in Russia crude steel production increased by 0.9 percent, rolled steel output declined by one percent, while steel pipe production increased by 31.2 percent, all year on year.
