Russia cancels import duties on certain rolled steel products

Michael Fradkov, the Chairman of the government of Russian Federation has signed a decree number 294 on May 18, 2006 according to which the import duties on certain steel products will be temporarily cancelled for a period of 9 months. The products include non-alloyed HR in thickness of more than 20 mm (Code CN 7208 51 300 0), non-alloyed HR in thickness of 15-20 mm (Code CN 7208 51 500 0) and alloyed flat rolled products in thickness of more than 15 mm (Code CN 7225 40 200 0). The decree will come into effect after one month from the date of its official publication.
