Qingdao Steel posts sales revenue of RMB 3.856 billion in Q1

In the first quarter of the current year, Shandong Province-based Chinese steelmaker Qingdao Iron and Steel (Qingdao Steel) recorded a sinter output of 1,087,359 mt, pig iron output of 775,189 mt, crude steel output of 733,216 mt and rolled steel production of 911,981 mt. In addition, the company achieved a sales revenue of RMB 3.85607 billion ($589.61 million) in the given quarter.
 
Furthermore, Qingdao Steel exported 13,851 mt of rolled steel in the first quarter, with the monthly export volume exceeding 5,000 mt in both February and March. Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asian countries were the main export destinations.
