Price increase for Erdemir products

Turkish steel producer Erdemir has difficulties to meet the entire demand for Q3 due to the unexpected strong demand from the domestic market in addition to that of the the foreign market. Despite the fact that a price increse was already effected on May 2, 2002, Erdemir decided to make a further price increase as a consequence of the current strong demand. The price increase applies mainly for; HRC($20/mt), CRC($20/mt), galvanized ($15/mt) and tinplate($20/mt).
