Pittini and Sipro Stahl Schweiz start distribution JV in Germany

Italian steel group Pittini has announced that as of January 1 this year Pittini Siderprodukte AG was established, a joint venture between Pittini Group and Zurich-based Sipro Stahl Schweiz, a Swiss group of commercial companies that sell long products in quality and special steels, merchant bars and other steel products. The joint venture represents the outcome of a successful cooperation that started in 2016, said Pittini in a note.

Sipro Stahl Schweiz already distributes products from other Italian steel producers, such as Acciaierie Venete and Beltrame.

Pittini Siderprodukte AG supplies wire rod coming from the Italian production sites of Osoppo (Udine) and Verona exclusively for the German market.
