Pakistan's iron and steel imports down 9.63 percent in Nov from Oct

Pakistan's iron and steel scrap imports amounted to 106,191 mt in November this year, decreasing 20.65 percent compared to October and down 23.29 percent year on year, according to the data released by the Pakistan Federal Bureau of Statistic (PFBS). The value of these imports in November was $46.43 million, decreasing by 18.13 percent month on month and down 4.98 year on year.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's iron and steel imports in November amounted to 117,552 mt, decreasing by 32.23 percent on year-on-year basis and down 9.63 percent compared to the previous month. In the period in question, the value of Pakistan's iron and steel imports was $87.48 million, falling 29.17 percent year on year.
