Pakistan's iron and steel scrap imports up 28.4% in Nov from Oct

Pakistan's iron and steel scrap imports amounted to 382,265 mt in November this year, increasing by 28.4 percent compared to October and down 18.6 percent year on year, according to the data released by the Pakistan Federal Bureau of Statistics (PFBS). The value of these imports in November was $117.39 million, increasing by 11.79 percent month on month and down 2.6 year on year.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's iron and steel imports in November amounted to 214,654 mt, down 11.04 percent on year-on-year basis and decreasing by 45.07 percent compared to the previous month. In November this year, the value of Pakistan's iron and steel imports was $139.9 million, falling by 13.8 percent year on year and down by 45.08 percent month on month.
