OMK’s Almetyevsk Pipe Plant issues January-July production results

The Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has announced that its Tatarstan-based subsidiary Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (ATZ) has issued its production results for the January-July 2008 period.

Accordingly, during January-July 2008, ATZ's total pipe production increased by 16 percent year on year to 90,300 mt, exceeding its production target for the months in question by 11 percent.

During the given period, ATZ's shipments amounted to 109,454 mt, which is an increase of 22 percent compared to the same period last year.
