NTMK increases production output

Nizhny Tagil Iron and Steel Works (NTMK), a subsidiary of the Russian steel producer Evraz Group, plans to increase its steel output in February by about 43 percent to 286,000 mt, compared to 200,000 mt produced in January.
 
According to NTMK's personnel director Aleksey Pyrin, in March the plant's converter shop is expected to work at 99 percent of its capacity, while steel output is planned to be increased to 316,000 mt.
