NLMK to increase steel slab shipments in March

Russian steelmaker NLMK has stated that in March this year it plans to increase slab shipments by 24 percent month on month to 540,000 mt.

In total, NLMK plans to produce up to 1.04 million mt of crude steel in March, up 16 percent compared to February, and 997,000 mt of steel products, up 15 percent month on month.

In the January-February period of the current year, NLMK produced 1.9 million mt of crude steel, up 30 percent compared to the same period of last year, and 1.8 million mt of steel products, up 32 percent year on year.
