The Russian steelmaker Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) has announced that it has successfully passed a recertification audit of the French certification agency Bureau Veritas for compliance with the agency's rules for the production of shipbuilding slabs.

The audit in question has confirmed that NLMK's shipbuilding slabs meet all international and national standard requirements. As a result, NLMK will be granted a new five-year certificate of its shipbuilding slabs' compliance with the rules of Bureau Veritas.
