New Zealand's Ministry of Economic Development has announced that it has initiated an antidumping (AD) investigation regarding wire nails imported from China.

In an announcement on November 15, the chief adviser of the ministry's Trade Remedies Tariff Group, Robin Hill, said there is sufficient evidence indicating that the imported product is being dumped in New Zealand, causing material injury to the local market.

The product mentioned is listed under the HTS code 7317.00.09.09.
