New ore dressing plant to be built in Russia’s Beloretsky district

The Russian company Belstal plans the construction of a new ore dressing plant in Russia's Beloretsky district, Republic of Bashkortostan, with an annual production capacity of 1.25 million mt of concentrate per year.

In addition, the project also includes the construction of a new iron-smelting complex in Zheleznodorozhny village in the Beloretsky district, which will produce up to 600,000 mt of pig iron per year.

The investments in the first phase of the project are estimated at Ruble 9.2 billion (about $300 million), while investments in the second stage will amount to Ruble 10.5 billion ($342 million).
