Nanjing Steel raises ex-factory prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On January 9, Jiangsu Province-based Nanjing Steel announced the latest ex-factory prices for some of its products. The details are as follows: 1. Medium plate prices have increased RMB 100/mt ($13/mt). Following the adjustment, the price of 8 mm Q195-275 is RMB 4,460/mt ($572/mt), 14-22 mm Q195-275 now costs RMB 4,010/mt ($514/mt), 8 mm Q345 costs RMB 4,660/mt ($597/mt), while the price of 14-22 mm Q345 has risen to RMB 4,210/mt ($540/mt). 2. Rebar prices have gone up RMB 30/mt ($4/mt). As a result, the price of 18-25 mm diameter HRB335 is now RMB 3,310/mt ($424/mt), while that of 18-25 mm diameter HRB400 is RMB 3,460/mt ($444/mt). 3. Common carbon round bar has increased RMB 30/mt ($4/mt), with the new price of 16-32 mm diameter Q195-235 now at RMB 3,340/mt ($428/mt). 4. Quality carbon section steel prices increased RMB 40/mt ($5/mt). As a result, the new price of 16-58 mm 35-55# is RMB 3,450/mt ($442/mt). All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of January 9.
