MOC: Average steel prices in China increase during March 6-12

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during the March 6-12 period this year the overall average finished steel price in China increased.

In the given period, the average prices of common steel plate, rebar and high-speed wire rod increased by 1.0 percent, 0.9 percent and 0.8 percent, week on week, respectively.   

In the same period, the average price of smoke-free lump coal and coking coal edged down by 0.7 percent and 0.5 percent, respectively, though the average price of thermal coal remained stable, all week on week.
