China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (November 7-13) the overall average finished steel price in China increased by four percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of rebar, high-speed wire rod and common medium plate in China rose by five percent, 4.6 percent and 4.5 percent week on week, respectively.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China increased by 7.8 percent week on week. The average price of nickel (Ni> = 99.2%) rose by 10.8 percent compared to the previous week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China increased by 1.6 percent week on week. In particular, the average prices of thermal coal, coking coal and anthracite coal moved up by 1.7 percent, 1.5 percent and 1.4 percent week on week, respectively.
