MMZ repairs bar rolling workshop

Moldavian Metallurgical Plant (MMZ) has stopped its bar rolling workshop for a scheduled overhaul.

The scope of the overhaul includes the repair of MMZ's mill 320-350, its bar rolling line, wire rod line, reheating furnaces No. 1 and No. 2, crane No. 47 and some other equipment.

During October 1- 28, MMZ produced 68,052 mt of crude steel and 50,644 mt of rolled steel products, and delivered 53,043 mt of steel products.
