Minnesota service center to invest $5.2 million in new, larger facility

Minnesota-based metals service center Midwest Steel Supply Inc. announced it will move operations into a new 55,000-square-foot office and distribution facility in Rogers, Minnesota, with an investment of $5.2 million.
 
About 15 new jobs will be created over the next three years—Midwest currently employs 22 people at a 27,500-square-foot facility in New Hope, Minnesota.
 
Midwest Steel is a metal service center and distributor specializing in aluminum, stainless steel, steel and brass, as well as precision cutting of metal. Midwest’s customers are in the medical, aerospace, semiconductor, defense and automated packaging equipment industries.
