Mexico’s iron pellet production declines in July

Mexican iron pellet output in July totaled 612,112 mt, 2.3 percent down, year-on-year, according to the nation’s statistics agency, Inegi.
 
As for the month-on-month analysis, the country’s iron pellet production diminished 4.8 percent.
 
Mexico’s mining and metals production index in July rose 1.8 percent, month-on-month, but declined 7.3 percent, year-on-year.
 
Mexican accumulated iron pellet production in the seven-month period from January to July decreased 11.4 percent, year-on-year, Inegi said.
