Mexico’s iron pellet production declines 13.2 percent in September

Mexico’s iron pellet output in September decreased 13.2 percent, year-on-year, to 623,464 mt, the nation’s statistics agency, Inegi, said this week.
 
According to Inegi, the country's iron pellet production rose nearly 2 percent in September, month-on-month, from 611,921 mt in August.
 
Mexico’s mining and metals production index in September rose 1.2 percent, month-on-month, but fell 8.1 percent in the year-on-year analysis.
 
Mexican accumulated iron pellet production for the January-September period declined 10.8 percent, year-on-year, Inegi said.
