Mexico’s iron pellet output increases in January

Mexican iron pellet production in January increased 27.6 percent, year­-on-­year, to 653,483 mt, the country’s statistics agency, Inegi, said on Friday.
 
According to government data, the country’s iron pellet production in January rose 1.21 percent on a month­-on-­month basis, from 645,622 mt in December.
 
Mexican mining and metals production index in January grew 3.3 percent, month­-on-­month, and 0.1 percent year-­on-­year.
