Mexico’s iron pellet output declines 12.9 percent in October

Mexico’s iron pellet output in October declined 12.9 percent, year-on-year, to 616,286 mt, the nation’s statistics agency, Inegi, said on Friday.
 
According to government data, iron pellet output in October diminished nearly 1.2 percent in the month-on-month analysis, from 623,464 mt in September.
 
Mexico’s mining and metals production index in October declined 2.1 percent, month-on-month, and 6.5 percent, year-on-year.
 
Mexican accumulated iron pellet production in the ten-month period from January to October fell 11 percent, year-on-year, according to Inegi’s data.
