Mexico starts sunset review of CVD on Chinese HSS

Mexico’s Ministry of Economy has announced that it has started the sunset review of countervailing duties (CVD) on imports of carbon and alloy steel pipes with longitudinal seams of circular, square, and rectangular sections (hollow structural sections - HSS) from China. The initial duties were imposed in March 2018, ranging from $0.356 per kilograms to $0.618 per kilograms. 

The products subject to the countervailing duty currently fall under customs tariff codes of 7306.19.99, 7306.30.03, 7306.30.04, 7306.30.99 and 7306.61.01.
