Mexico starts AD probe into tubing imports from Korea, Spain, India and Ukraine

Mexico started an anti-dumping investigation over the imports of seamless carbon steel tubes from Korea, Spain, India and Ukraine, following a request from local producer Tamsa.
 
According to the Mexican government, the products subject to the AD probe include seamless carbon steel tubes with a nominal diameter superior or equal to 2 inches, inferior or equal to 16 inches, independently of their thickness or grade. The products subject to the AD investigation fall under the HTS codes 7304.19.01, 7304.19.02, 7304.19.99, 7304.39.05, 7304.39.06 and 7304.39.99.
 
The Mexican government said the period of review is from April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016, while the period of analysis of damages they might have caused to the country’s domestic industry is from April 1, 2013 to March 31, 2016.
